Rental Terms & Conditions of Gîtes La Bastide d’Edouard*****

1 – YOUR STAY

Our prices include:

  • The complete accommodation equipped according to inventory provided
  • water, electricity, gas, air conditioning
  • Access to the swimming pool during the opening period
  • Parking spaces
  • Provision of sheets and towels
  • Maintenance of the accommodation when you leave
  • Tourist tax

Our prices do not include:

  • Meals, beverages
  • Entertainment, activities and visits

2 – DAYS AND TIMES OF ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

Arrivals are scheduled from 5pm.

Departures are scheduled no later than 10 a.m.

3 – CAUTION

A deposit of €1000 will be required upon arrival. It is likely to cover the costs of repairs or damage that occur during your stay.

If no anomaly is found, it will be returned to you on the day of your departure after the inventory of fixtures.

If an anomaly in the physical condition of the premises is noted (deterioration), it will be maintained by us. It will be returned to you in whole or in part depending on the extent of the damage and the repairs required due to the damage caused by you.

4 – STATE OF PLAY

It is necessary to mention any defects noticed on the equipment, walls,… any deterioration present upon arrival.

During your stay

Any anomaly on the material, degradation or deterioration of materials and equipment must be reported to us immediately so that we can realize the seriousness of the situation and intervene if necessary.

Any unreported degradation may be attributed to you.

Any items lost or damaged in the rental will be at your expense.

If you lose the keys to the gîte, you will be charged €50.

When you leave

The accommodation must be returned in a tidy, fridge and bin emptied; containers are at your disposal above the car park on the side of the road. Under no circumstances should garbage cans be left on the outside to prevent any local wildlife from being attracted. A contradictory inventory will be carried out in your presence.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT OF THE STAY

5A – BOOKING REGISTRATION

Upon receipt of your 50% deposit, a registration confirmation will be sent to you by email, confirming:

  • the dates of your stay;
  • the total amount of your stay based on the information you provide to us on your booking request;
  • the amount of the deposit received;

In case of no-show or shortened stay, the entire stay originally booked will be due.

5B – BALANCE SETTLEMENT

The client formally agrees to pay us the balance of his stay without a reminder from us, 60 days before the start of the stay (50% remaining).

5C – METHODS OF PAYMENT

The following payment methods are accepted: bank transfer or cash on request by email, credit card via the website.

6 – PETS

Your pet is not allowed in the property for hygienic reasons.

7 – MODIFICATION OF A CONFIRMED STAY

We accept any change of date, subject to availability at the time of the change request.

8 – CANCELLATION OF A STAY

For any cancellation of a stay, the deposits paid will be deemed to be the property of Mr. and Mrs. Vors, the deposits being considered as a reciprocal commitment between the two parties. It is therefore preferable to opt for a cancellation insurance available from many insurers.

What should I do if I cancel my stay? You must inform Mrs. VORS Laure of your cancellation:

  • the same day by phone;
  • then by mail at contact@domainelec4.com

Guests who cancel at least 60 days prior to the date will receive 100% of their refund.

If the cancellation is made after the date indicated, they will not get a refund.

The management reserves the right to consider the reimbursement of a stay in the event of cancellation due to force majeure (death, accident, sudden serious illness preventing travel).

9 – INTERRUPTION OF A STAY

In the event of interruption of a stay by the client for any reason whatsoever, no refund will be made.

10 – OPTIONAL INSURANCE

The customer is free to take out such insurance with the company of his choice.

11 – RATES

The rates applied are those mentioned on our documents and websites. The reservation of the gîte implies the full acceptance of these reservation conditions. Complaints must be made by registered letter to Mrs. VORS Laure, 48 Chemin des Cayres 07460 BERRIAS and CASTELJAU or by phone: 06 10 46 16 31.
