The beautiful story
This adventure begins in 1975, when two newlyweds, Vincent and Michèle, their son Laurent and his grandfather Edouard, come to move into this old country house in ruins. At the time, there was no bridge connecting the village of Casteljau, nor paved road…just a port in ruins on the peninsula of Lauzaces in Casteljau, at the end of the world.
Our cottages for spring and summer rentals are located in Berrias and Casteljau, in South Ardèche. The picturesque descent into the natural rocks to the edge of the pool makes it an exceptional area !

Situate us
Our domain, rated 5 stars for its cottages, to discover with friends or family, is located in the South of the Ardèche, in the Gorges du Chassezac where climbing, canoeing, cycling and mountain biking are appropriate . Our complex is at the gates of Païolive wood which is a protected natural site both Natura 2000 and Sensitive Natural Area. This exceptional wood bordered by cliffs, where you can go hiking with friends or family, shelters a fauna and flora still wild: fascinating animal species: rare insects, beavers, raptors such as the pelican falcon, the Bonelli eagle and exceptional plants…
